For anyone who remembers this, Nickelodeon used to encourage viewers to say "Rabbit, rabbit!" when the woke up on the first day of each month. Ideally, this will bring good luck. As I am a *huge* fan of good luck, I make a point of saying "RR" every month. Now that we have entered October of 2006, here's why I need some great luck:

1) MBA classes. My organization behavior and accounting classes are about 1/3 through (which is crazy!!) and grades will start appearing here and there.

2) Work. I've been in my current job for 17 months now, and I'm really trying to impress my employer.

3) New MBA friends. Of course, the nice thing about seeing 50+ students a week is that it increases my chances of having more than 3 friends (my current count, which I believe to be fairly accurate).

Luck doesn't really have much to do with any of these things - I think it's within my control to succeed in all areas. Actually, I'm currently seeking an accounting tutor, which will improve my odds of getting a good grade in my financial reporting class. As far as work goes, I just need to stay positive. And the MBA friends will come naturally as I progress into further courses.
