What videogame is your life most like?

I just had a mole removed this afternoon, which means that I can't run for the next 6 business days. Also, it means that I'm home on a Friday afternoon. So, with nothing to do and nowhere to go, I turn to the internet for its unique brand of entertainment. In my travels, I came across outrun.org - a website devoted entirely to the 1980's SEGA racing games.

I can't tell you just how many hours I spent drooling over these sorts of racing games. Also, I'm a sucker for corny RPGs, like the entire Final Fantasy series, but I have never played "Magic: The Gathering" nor have I ever owned an 18-sided die. So stop snickering. It's just a guilty pleasure.
So, here's a screenshot of Outrun 2019 - does it look familiar? Am I showing my age on this one?

Basically, every time I go running, I picture myself as the rocket-powered car in this game. Here's what I see in my mind:

And of course, the other runners are mostly just targets or obstacles. It's all in good fun.
